Blandford Sub Aqua’s success is built on enthusiasm & experience.

So, our brief was simple – to produce an advert which captured the fervour required to work for BSA and recruit someone with that same passion, on a budget of under £2k, including creative, imagery and media space.

BSA needed to recruit someone locally who was both a stalwart salesperson and held more than a keen interest in diving. With a number of dive centres in Somerset, we had to reach out to the local audience with a big enough impact to ensure that relevant job seekers saw the advert and that interest would also spread by word of mouth. The local press was considered to be the best vehicle to do this and an inexpensive way to run their first creative advert.

To help keep the project affordable, the image was sourced from istock and then manipulated extensively in Photoshop to achieve the desired result.

 

The campaign itself was a complete success, with 41 applications which led to 6 interviews and the hiring of not only the Sales Manager, but an assistant also. There was also a 19% increase in traffic to BSA’s website, resulting in further commercial benefits too.
